Your Account
How to update your profile, change your theme, and manage your Brandparser account.
Your account settings control your personal profile and preferences across all workspaces. These are separate from workspace settings, which apply to a single workspace and its members.
Account settings follow you everywhere. Changes you make here apply across every workspace you belong to.
Profile settings
To update your profile, click your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar and select Account settings.
From here you can change your:
- Name - Displayed to other workspace members.
- Profile picture - Upload an image or remove the current one. If no picture is set, your initials are shown instead.
Email address
Your email address is tied to your login and is managed through your authentication provider. To change your email, update it with your SSO provider. The change will sync to Brandparser the next time you sign in.
Theme preference
You can choose between light and dark mode. Open your account settings and pick your preferred theme under Appearance.
Your theme preference is saved to your account, so it stays consistent across devices.
Switching workspaces
You can switch workspaces from the workspace switcher in the sidebar (click your workspace name in the top-left corner). All workspaces you belong to are listed there.
Deleting your account
If you need to delete your Brandparser account, you can do so from Account settings > Delete account.
Before deleting, keep the following in mind:
- If you are the sole owner of any workspace, you must transfer ownership to another member first. You cannot delete your account while you are the only owner of a workspace.
- Your profile information will be permanently removed.
- You will be removed from all workspaces you belong to.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to transfer ownership of any workspaces before proceeding.
