Brands
Learn how to create, analyze, and manage brands in Brandparser.
A brand in Brandparser is a structured representation of a company's brand identity, extracted directly from their website. When you create a brand, Brandparser crawls the site, analyzes its content, and generates structured data across sections covering everything from colors and typography to voice, audiences, and positioning.
Creating a brand
To create a brand, click New Brand and enter the website URL you want to analyze. Brandparser accepts any publicly accessible URL.
Once you submit the URL, Brandparser kicks off an analysis that typically takes about 60 seconds. During analysis, the system:
- Crawls the website to collect pages, text content, and linked assets
- Extracts visual assets like logos, images, colors, and fonts
- Analyzes content with AI to identify mission, audiences, voice, positioning, and more
- Generates structured data across brand sections
You can navigate away while the analysis runs. Come back anytime to check the progress.
Analysis statuses
Each brand has an analysis status that tells you where it is in the pipeline.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Idle | No analysis has been started yet. |
| Queued | The analysis is waiting to be picked up. |
| Running | The analysis is actively processing. |
| Complete | The analysis finished successfully. All sections are populated. |
| Failed | Something went wrong during analysis. You can try running it again. |
| Insufficient Data | The website did not have enough content to produce meaningful results. |
Brand home page
After analysis completes, the brand home page gives you an overview of everything Brandparser extracted. You can browse each of the sections, see key highlights at a glance, and dive deeper into any area.
For a detailed look at what each section contains, see Brand Sections.
Re-running analysis
You can re-run analysis on any brand at any time. This is useful when a company has updated their website and you want to capture the latest brand data.
When you re-run analysis, Brandparser crawls the site fresh and regenerates all parsed data. Any manual edits you have made are preserved. Your overrides stay in place, and only the underlying parsed values are updated.
Re-running analysis will never overwrite your manual edits. Parsed data and overrides are stored separately, so your work is always safe.
Insufficient data
Sometimes a website does not have enough content for Brandparser to produce meaningful results. This can happen with very simple landing pages, sites behind authentication, or pages with minimal text content.
If you see the Insufficient Data status, you can:
- Try a different URL for the same company (for example, their main marketing site instead of a product page)
- Wait for the company to publish more content and re-run later
- Manually fill in the brand sections yourself on a paid plan
Plans and access
Free users can analyze any website, but you need a paid plan to access the full structured data, edit sections, or export brand guidelines. Upgrade at Settings > Billing.
Deleting a brand
To delete a brand, open the brand settings and click Delete Brand. This permanently removes the brand and all of its data, including any manual edits. This action cannot be undone.
